Seven years.
It’s hard to believe that Resilient Fitness has been serving our community for seven years.
When we started, the vision was simple: create a place where people could get stronger, move better, and become more resilient. Not just in the gym, but in life.
Over the years, that vision has grown into something bigger than I could have imagined.
We’ve watched people walk through our doors who were nervous to start exercising and eventually become confident, strong, and consistent. We’ve helped people return from injuries, discover strength training for the first time, compete in powerlifting meets, run races, climb mountains, improve their health, and accomplish things they once thought were out of reach.

We’ve celebrated first push-ups and first pull-ups.
We’ve celebrated personal records on the platform and victories that will never show up on a leaderboard.
We’ve watched members regain confidence in their bodies, stay active as they get older, prepare for adventures, become stronger parents and grandparents, and build friendships that extend far beyond the walls of the gym.
That is what Resilient Fitness has always been about.
Seven Years of Growth at Resilient Fitness

The gym has changed a lot since the beginning.
We have grown our semi-private training program, expanded our Functional Strength classes, developed specialty programs, built a competitive powerlifting community through Resilient Barbell and the Powerlifting Club, coached youth athletes, supported runners and endurance athletes, and continued finding new ways to meet people where they are.
Our athletes have competed locally and nationally.
We’ve seen state records broken, podium finishes earned, personal records crushed, and first-time competitors discover what they are capable of.
But some of the milestones I’m most proud of are harder to measure.
It’s the member who has trained with us year after year.
The person who walks into the gym after a difficult day because they know this is one of their places.
The friendships that started between sets.
The families who have trusted us with multiple generations.
The members who have referred their friends because they wanted someone they cared
about to experience what they found here.
Those things mean more than any trophy or number ever could.
Our Coaches Make This Place What It Is

Resilient Fitness would not be what it is today without our coaching team.
Over seven years, I’ve learned that a great gym is not built by equipment, programs, or social media posts.
It is built by people who care.
Our coaches have given their time, energy, knowledge, patience, and heart to our members. They have celebrated your wins, adjusted workouts on difficult days, listened when you needed someone to talk to, pushed you when you needed a challenge, and reminded you of what you are capable of when you forgot.
To every coach who has been part of the Resilient Fitness story: thank you.
Thank you for believing in the vision.
Thank you for caring about the details.
Thank you for continuing to learn and grow.
Most importantly, thank you for taking care of our people.
To Our Members: Thank You
There is no Resilient Fitness without you.

Some of you have been with us almost from the beginning. Others joined this month.
Every one of you has added something to this community.
Thank you for trusting us with your goals.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for allowing us to coach you.
Thank you for supporting a local, family-owned business.
Thank you for telling your friends and family about us.
Thank you for sticking with us through challenges, changes, growing pains, and everything
else that comes with building something meaningful.
Owning a small business is not always easy. There have been incredible highs and difficult seasons. Through all of it, the relationships inside this gym have continued to remind me why we started.
I am incredibly grateful that we get to do this work.
What Comes Next
Seven years in, I still feel like we are building.
We want to continue improving the coaching experience. We want to develop our team and create opportunities for our coaches to grow as leaders. We want to continue expanding our semi-private training, group programs, Powerlifting Club, youth development, remote coaching, and specialty programs.
We want Resilient Fitness to be a place where a beginner can take their first step into strength training and where an experienced athlete can chase their biggest goals.
A place where people can train hard without feeling like they have to destroy themselves.
A place where strength and longevity can exist together.
A place where people know their coaches and their coaches know them.
A place where people belong.
The equipment will change.
The programs will evolve.
The gym will continue to grow.
But the mission remains the same:
Help people build stronger bodies, greater confidence, and the resilience to do more of the things they love.
Seven years down.
A lot of lessons learned. A lot of memories made.
A lot of people who have become part of our story.
To every member, coach, friend, family member, referral partner, and supporter who has been part of these seven years: thank you.
We’re proud of what we’ve built.
And we’re excited about where we’re going next.
Here’s to the next chapter.
Thank you, Jesus Acuna
